Jessica Sherotski is living her #BestLife teaching first grade at Willow Oak School. Thanks to her experience as a Polk County student, Jessica decided to become a teacher and dedicate her life to serving students.
“If I can give my students an experience that will change their futures forever, then I think it’s totally worth it. I want my students to have experiences that are unforgettable,” said Jessica. “I want my students to live for the school week instead of living for the weekend, so I work really hard to create experiences for them that will make them excited about coming to school every day.”
Thanks to her hard work and dedication to educating children, Jessica is the first Polk County Public Schools employee to be featured in the district’s new #BestLife series.
