ARRIVAL/DISMISSAL - School hours are from 8:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. Supervision of students begins at 7:30 a.m. As students arrive they are to go to the Cafeteria for breakfast or to wait until the 7:45 a.m. bell. Students will not be allowed to check-out after 2:45 as we are preparing for dismissal.

Car Riders Drop-off / Pick-up: Parents should enter the south parking lot for the student drop-off and pick-up area. Please do not park in the front of the school or north entry. This area is reserved for buses only. Cars must display their student's car tag. If this tag is missing, adults will be directed to the main office to pick up the student.
Bus Riders: Only students living in designated areas approved for school bus transportation may ride school buses on regular school bus routes. Questions concerning bus routes may be answered by calling the Transportation Department at 534-7308. Please know that riding the bus is a privilege. Students who ride the bus are subject to the rules contained in the Polk County School Board Code of Conduct Handbook and must behave in a manner that does not prohibit or impede the safe transportation of all students. Any students who become a behavior problem on a school bus will be referred to the office for discipline.
Daycare Van Riders - Daycare van riders will be released as the vans arrive. Please stop by or call the office for a list of daycares who serve our school.
Walkers and Bike Riders - Walkers and bike riders will be released at 3:00. Kindergarten- 2^nd grade students must walk/ride with an older student or be picked up by a "Walk-Up Parent" (walk-up parents will be given an identification tag). Please do not park and attempt to avoid the car line to pick up your child. This is unsafe.
Changing the way your child goes home: If you need to make a last-minute change DURING THE SCHOOL DAY there are three ways to do this:
- Come into the school office with a photo ID.
- Send in a written request by an adult listed on the student's emergency contact in Parent Portal. They must present a photo ID.
- Calling on the phone is not an option to change your child's dismissal status as there is no way to verify that you are indeed the person who is calling. This is for your child's safety.

LLEGADA / SALIDA - El horario escolar es de 8:00 a.m. a 3:00 p.m. La supervisión de los estudiantes comienza a las 7:30 a.m. Cuando los estudiantes llegan, deben ir a la cafetería para desayunar o esperar hasta que suene la campana de las 7:45 a.m. A los estudiantes no se les permitirán salir después de las 2:45 ya que nos estamos preparando para la salida.

Dejar y/o Recoger a los Pasajeros en Automóvil: Los padres deben ingresar al estacionamiento sur para dejar y/o recoger a los estudiantes. Por favor, no se estacione en frente de la escuela o en la entrada norte. Esta área está reservada solo para autobuses. Los automóviles deben mostrar el cartelón de automóvil con el nombre del estudiante. Si falta este cartelón, los adultos serán dirigidos a la oficina principal para que recojan aal estudiante.
Estudiantes viajando en autobús: Solo los estudiantes que viven en áreas designadas aprobadas para la transportación en autobús escolar pueden viajar en los autobuses escolares en las rutas regulares de autobuses escolares. Las preguntas sobre las rutas de los autobuses o llegada de autobuses podrán saber dicha información llamando al Departamento de Transportacion al 534-7308. Por favor, sepa que viajar en autobús es un privilegio. Los estudiantes que viajan en autobús están sujetos a las reglas contenidas en el Manual del Código de Conducta de la Junta Escolar del Condado de Polk y deben comportarse de una manera que no prohíba o impida el transporte seguro de todos los estudiantes. Cualquier estudiante que se convierta en un problema de comportamiento en un autobús escolar será referido a la oficina para que se le aplique disciplina.
Pasajeros de vehículo de guardería: los pasajeros de vehículo de guardería serán liberados cuando lleguen los vehículos de guardería. Por Favor visite o llame a la oficina para obtener una lista de las guarderías que sirven a nuestra escuela.
Cambiar la forma en que su hijo/a regresa a casa: Si necesita hacer un cambio de último minuto DURANTE EL DÍA ESCOLAR, hay tres formas de hacerlo:
Venga a la oficina de la escuela con una identificación con foto.
Envíe una solicitud por escrito del adulto que esta anotado en el contacto de emergencia del estudiante en el Portal para padres. Deben presentar una identificación con fotografía.
Llamar por teléfono no es una opción para cambiar el estado de salida de su hijo/a, ya que no hay forma de verificar que usted sea realmente la persona que está llamando. Esto es por la seguridad de su hijo/a.
